how to change sidebar image (on my themes)

Once you find a theme you want to use from lovely-themes.com

Copy and paste the theme’s coding on your blog’s HTML customize section.

Now scroll down the code until you find something like this:

<div id=”sidebar”>

<div class=”box”>

<img src=”http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m20kbcAPpZ1qg8t58o1_500.png" width=230 class="border">

Now delete the current image URL and replace it with your own URL. The section you need to change is bold up there^

If you have more questions use our askbox to ask me.

rounded corners

If you want your images to be rounded or any DIV layer. This is the way of doing it.

To make images rounded place the following coding before the </style> tag, and all of your images on your blog will be rounded.

img {

-webkit-border-radius: 15px;

border-radius: 15px;

}

You can change the radius according to your  theme. Change 15px to 40px to make it look more round or change it to 10px for a smaller radius.

Now, if you want a div box to be rounded place the following code before the </style> tag

.boxname {

-webkit-border-radius: 15px;

border-radius: 15px;

}

You can add more styling to your box div by adding a background color, border or anything. You can also change then name of the box. Save it and that’s it!

css navigation

Fist you need the CSS part, so add the following coding before the </style> tag

a.nav1, a.nav1:visited a.nav1:active{
margin:1px; padding:3px;
padding-left:10px;
text-align: left;
font-family: “arial”;
font-size:10px;
color:#ff54ac;
display: block;
background-color:#191919;
border-left:5px solid #ff54ac;
text-transform:uppercase;
font-weight:normal;
letter-spacing:3px;
-webkit-transition:0.5s;
-moz-transition:0.5s;
-ms-transition:0.5s;
-o-transition:0.5s;
transition:0.5s;
}
a.nav1:hover {
border-left:25px solid #ff54ac;
}

Then you can change the font, color and size to match your theme. To use the coding you add the following somewhere in your sidebar where you want to display the navigation

<a class=”nav1” href=”URL”>link here</a>

<a class=”nav1” href=”URL”>link here</a>

<a class=”nav1” href=”URL”>link here</a>

<a class=”nav1” href=”URL”>link here</a>

That’s it! You can customize the coding differently according to your theme/blog. Have fun with it.
